Exceedingly, Abundantly
Exceedingly, Abundantly

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”

Ephesians 3:20 NKJV

Sometimes when looking around or across, we can’t stand what we see. Sometimes what we see is a reflection of a season we didn’t expect. Or maybe what we see feels like the waiting room of what we’re praying for. What happens when what we see is hard to look at? I recently read the scripture that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ask or think according to the power that works in us and it dawned on me… we can be so busy looking around(at people, circumstances, etc) that we can forget to look up(at God). I realize that when we don’t look up, we forget the power that’s already inside of us(Christ Jesus).

I want to encourage you to remember WHOSE you are so that you can remember WHO you are. God can do anything. Literally, anything. After all, he’s God. It’s just that what you end up seeing as a result of little faith vs big faith look very different from each other.

I know life can get hard. I know it can be confusing. I know it can be difficult to not TRY to control the narrative even though God already knows the plans he has for you. Even with all of that, he’s still very much willing to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or think. I want to ask you this - What have you been thinking? What have you asked for lately? Do you believe that God can do the opposite of what things have looked like? Do you believe that God still cares? That he still wants you to have the best possible outcome? Personally, I almost forgot…until I remembered.

This month, I pray that you remember as well. That our God, our Heavenly Father can and will do exceedingly and abundantly… not because of anything other than that he genuinely wants to.

Stay faithful. STAY SAVED. :)
